Anemoiapolis Beta V2 is now available
Hello fans! I know some of you were hoping for a full release before 2022, and so was I. But in reality, there are still many things that need to be finished, and I don't want to give you an inferior product! Between some health problems and planning my own wedding, last year was very busy.
I hope you will enjoy this early release of the first half of the game. It has more levels than the original beta, and is much more polished. It also has some of my favorite environments and it's got a few extra puzzles sprinkled in. Enjoy!

Awesome job! Sorry to hear about your health issues (I have them to) also congrats on the wedding. I will say this is the BEST backrooms style game, the atmosphere is perfect, plus the poolrooms are my favorite.

Hey! Really like what you have going so far here. However I want to leave a little feedback for you. Just jotted down a few notes while I was playing.
-I'm not sure if there's a better solution for blocking off river at the start, but it just feels weird to have an invisible wall. Maybe some impassible brush?
-Think about removing unnecessary voice lines. It really takes away from the feeling that we're alone in a strange place. It really just takes you out of it to have some guy commenting on everything. Especially when it sounds like they're talking directly to you, with lines like "Are those balconies?"
-I would really consider getting rid of the head movement while walking. I'm not super susceptible to motion sickness and it gave me a headache.
-Consider making the film grain something you can turn off in settings.
-I know it's a super early build, but the jumping feels really off.
-I would do my best to eliminate the loading screens if I were you. I'm not sure how able you are with the tools and time you have, but even just the long hallway loading trick would be better to have.
-Find your focus. Is this a horror game? An exploration game? A puzzle game? It's great to have elements of all those, but I would really focus in on what I would want the core of the game to be here.
Again, really excited to see where you'll go with this. I really loved that randomly generated "backrooms" area at the end and would love to know how you did that!
This was am amazing game and really great ambiance from beginning to end and I cant wait til the full chapter is released. I really recommend to anyone thinking about buying it

Was going to get the BETA until I realized a lot of updates have been mentioned on Twitter since this release - should I wait?
Holy, that was a great game. The graphics were kind of plasticy but still did a great job. I would like to see working slides though, kind of a bummer they don't work. Also, I think you could add a small ripple every time you walk over a puddle, it's weird with no physics. overall, well worth the 8.11$!!
So far this is the best Liminal Space game I have been able to play. I am eager to play the full version. Will players be able to adjust graphics settings in future versions?

Im stuck in a pitch black room and a bit confused.. besides that im really impressed by the quality of the game !
That's unusual! What areas have you been through before this happened?
It was after the lazy river i went into the staff only room? also during and after the slide area there was some blinding lights that would pop up...
Odd. I think the next level isn't loading like it should. It could be a slow hard drive thing or maybe an error with the level loading process. Have you encountered this multiple times?
Its come up each new loaded game. I could check my hard drive though this computers not the best ^^;
Yeah I have not noticed any bugs after multiple playthroughs... I'm guessing your computer can not handle it.

Yes, you should get the full version for free when it is done, if you purchased it already, (assuming it will just update the game)
I purchased this game on a chromebook but can't run the .exe files does anyone know a way to fix this without having to buy any software or windows computers??
Also does anyone know how to delete files like this on chromebook my storage is almost full and I don't see the trash can icon when I press on the .zip file smh
Hello Keane! Unfortunately Chromebooks don't run windows. You can refund the game with Itch customer support. I suggest deleting the file by right clicking it and selecting 'delete'.
If we purchase the beta, do we get the full version for free when it comes out? Or at least a discount?
congratulations on you wedding! that is so exciting, don't worry about release date pressure, this is an important time for you and your fiancé. I'm so in love with this game and can't wait for the rest! you're work so far has been refreshing and so different and interesting. I noticed at the end you let us walk around an unfinished area- it sort of looks like the back rooms and that was very very exciting to me:)

The first chapter is really good, I found myself going crazy in the room with the pools because I kept seeing stuff in the corner of my eye, you really nailed this game so far.
